We like to be transparent about our overhead and costs - so you know exactly where your money is going. Check out the list below, and if you’d like, leave a note with your donation letting us know what item you’d like to sponsor! Your donation will go directly to purchase of that item - with our gratitude (and the animals’!)

NEEDED ITEMS:
Daily Care Needs total $786 per month:
Bedding/Straw – $20 per bale (4 per month)
Bedding/Shavings - $12 per bag (5 per month)
Orchard Grass - $30 per bale (5 per month)
Organic Alfalfa Hay – $28 per bale (2 per month)
Pig Pellets – $30 per bag (4 per month)
Peanut Butter - $6 per jar (4 per month)
Oatmeal - $4 per jar (4 per month)
Healthy pig snacks (variety of raw, unsalted nuts; raisins & dried cranberries; Cheerios; apple sauce) - up to $35 per month
Kelp (daily supplement) – $30 per bag (every other month)
DWA (de-wormer powder) and GI Soother (gut health powder) – $109 for both bags (every month)
Apple Cider Vinegar (daily supplement) - $6 per jar (5 per month)
Cow pellets - $25 per bag (2 per month)
Chicken Scratch – $16 per bag (every other month)
Chicken Pellets – $29 per bag (every 3 months)
Calcium grit for chickens - $6 per bag (every month)
Duck Pellets - $48 per bag (every 3 months)
Veterinary Care:
Hoof Trimming – $450 for 5 pigs
Office visit for our chickens & ducks - $95
Mobile Vet Visit – $105 house call fee + services
Miscellaneous items purchased on a regular basis due to wear & tear, new construction large & small, keeping our residents happy, promotional products, and keeping things clean & sanitary:
toys/enrichment items; hardware items such as hoses, gate latches, hinges, zip ties, screws/nails/nuts/bolts; replacement batteries for electric tools; gloves; paper towels, food containers, cloth towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies; brooms/rakes; medical supplies such as ear swabs for regular cleaning, salve for cuts, & sterile wipes; office needs such as flyers, posters, brochures, copy paper, ink, etc.
