Ever wondered what it takes to give a rescued pig, cow, duck or chicken a safe and happy life? Come find out! Join us for a sanctuary workday and spend time with the residents who call Jolene's Retreat home.

We'll roll up our sleeves together on hands-on care that keeps our sanctuary running. There are jobs for every ability, so everyone is welcome. No experience needed, and every task makes a real difference for someone who depends on us.

Time with the animals is good for the heart. It reminds us why this work matters and who we're doing it for. Afterward, stay and enjoy a delicious lunch with us at the sanctuary.

What to bring: Rubber boots or old shoes, clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and a sunny attitude. Everyone will sign a waiver when they arrive.

RSVP on Facebook so we know you're coming!

Participants choose a trail in their community, invite friends and family members to join them and have a good time outdoors. All ages can participate, but youth are especially encouraged! Participants can also choose to ask family and friends to sponsor them per mile hiked (or with a flat donation), and give all funds raised to a non-profit organization benefitting animals or the planet.
